Muthuswamy Pillai, performed her Arangetram, which is the official debut, at Rasika Ranjani Sabha in Madras to a packed audience of connoisseurs and dignitaries who came to see the new star of Indian dance. With her arangetram Devayani was launched to the world to perform and promote the ancient traditional dance Bharata Natyam and to carry her message all over the world.
